Corporate Teams integrates individual Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) application preferences with that of the whole team. The MBTI is a powerful resource used to bring teams together to drive increased understanding of communication and motivation by individual contributors. Insight into the strengths each team member provides teams the opportunity to achieve a higher level of performance in the pursuit of team goals.
The Corporate Teams programming philosophy brings together the hard-hitting insights of the MBTI profile assessment with action-based experiential initiatives. Using experiential learning as a cornerstone of the Corporate Teams team building model, individuals are able to ‘experience and modify behaviors’ to improve performance and enhance team communications. It is like learning to ride a bike. You can talk about how to ride a bike all day long but until you actually get up onto the bike, you will never really know how to ride that bike successfully. This is what Corporate Teams does best. The MBTI program gets your team on the bike by balancing classroom learning with actual experience.
Team Benefits of the Myers-Briggs Type IndicatorCorporate Teams delivers an MBTI experience that provides teams the opportunity to experience their MBTI Type Indicator in action. Engaging in a series of experiential activities, teams will develop a hands-on working knowledge of how individual preferences influence team goals. Under the pressure of time, teams must develop an effective strategy, deploy resources efficiently, and implement a solution to achieve success. These lessons are then aligned to the current challenges of the workplace. An action based working plan provides teams with concrete steps for immediate implementation back at the office.
The experiential based model of the MBTI increases the application and integration of MBTI principles over time and provides the opportunity for long-term measurable results.
We offer the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator in half day or full day workshops. With time allowing, we recommend the full day format to increase the applicability of the MBTI to current work challenges and to allow for the creation of an actionable plan to implement in the workplace. If your team would prefer, we can also deliver the full day program in two half-day segments.
