Get your team into motion with our new Corporate Teams Flash Mob Teambuilding! This intensely creative, highly energetic, and incredibly collaborative program brings together teams to design, implement, and perform a ‘flash mob’ experience.
Program Overview
Your group is divided into teams with each team responsible to create a 'piece' of the flash mob performance. Working in simulated 'virtual environment' team representatives will share their design strategies with the other teams to ensure a fully integrated performance. Each team will move through the Corporate Teams Model for TEAM Balance: Think; Engage; Activate; and Manage. This model provides teams with a structure to create, design, and implement their plan. The overall group can select from a number of high energy songs that span classic 60's to current hits. Whichever the chosen music, it will be something most everyone knows and loves. The song is segmented into 'team parts' with each team working on their piece of the overall song. Once each team has designed their piece of the performance, teams will rotate to learn the other team pieces until all team members can perform the entire song together as a group.
What is a Flash Mob?
As defined by Wikipedia a flash mob is "a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual and pointless act for a brief time, then quickly disperse."
What If Team Members are Hesitant to Perform?
There are roles for everyone on the team. For team members that do not want to perform, there are a variety of roles that are available that support the team: Virtual Team Assistants; Team Managers; Music Technicians; etc. For those team members that do want to move into action, no prior dance experience is necessary! As you can see from the examples, the moves are easy. The difficult part is getting the entire team in 'sync'. That's where the teamwork and collaboration come into play.
Requirements & Logistics
You may choose to keep the performance 'internal' to your teambuilding session OR you can hit the streets of the area and perform in public. Corporate Teams will manage the entire process for a public performance including the options for: locations; permit requirements; timing; audio; and video support. Flash Mob Teams involve everyday people engaging in a fun way to bring smiles to those around. Teams can be videotaped so the performance can be shared with other team members in the company. Who knows, maybe this will spark an internal competition for Flash Mob Team Performances?
