Perfect for a team that isn't afraid to pick up some speed!
This fast paced event pits teams against each other in an Indy Le Mans Style Corporate Race Carting event. Using the principles of the teamwork necessary in the Indy series, participants will engage in plotting a strategic plan to earn the most laps in this endurance racing event.
Program Overview
Foundation
Participants will be pre-assigned to teams based on what best meets your objectives for individual and team interaction. The overall objective of the Endurance Challenge is for each team to complete as many laps as possible during the race. Teams will be given the race rules, team identities will be formed and strategies will be developed. A brief foundation setting will take place to align current company opportunities and challenges to the overall event.
Action
Teams will have approximately 2 hours to race that includes the rotation of team members and pit stops. Each will require efficient development of a strategy, alternative analysis, implementation, and management for process improvement. Revenues are earned based on the overall achievement of race objectives. Teams will be monitored on the 'race board' which highlights the real-time activity of each team during the race.
Results
After all the teams have completed the race, the group will reconvene to begin a short debrief session. Teams will see how simple assumptions drove a strategy that may not have included the most efficient way to earn performance revenues. With limited resources allocated to each team, participants will quickly see the opportunity that would have allowed them to band together and increase the potential for performance results. But of course, the spirit of competition is always fun at an individual team level as long as it doesn't get in the way of the bigger team picture!
