The Team Performance Challenge is an intensely collaborative, multi-event team development session that provides team members with 3-5 diverse activities that explore the dynamics of leadership and teamwork under the simulated pressure of time.
The Team Performance Challenge combines multiple activities customized to the needs of the group and put together in a race-like format. (This requires speed of innovation and execution and NOT speed in movement).
Activities may include: complex problem-solving exercises, creative initiatives, and complex team challenges. Teams will be required to think quickly; move into action efficiently; develop innovative solutions; and manage time effectively. The group is split into teams of 5-8 (based on total number of participants and activities selected) with each team navigating their way through the various performance challenges.
As the group comes together, a buzz of excitement and anticipation fills the air. Participants gather into teams to begin the Team Performance Challenge. Eyeing the competition, teams wait in anticipation for the unveiling of the rules of engagement. Working against the clock, teams must navigate quickly and effectively through a series of activities that involve fast and efficient strategy development and deployment. The objective is for each team to maximize revenues during each challenge activity. Seems easy enough, but this isn't about speed. Experience proves itself over and over that it's not the fastest teams that win, but the smartest teams! Which team will balance their resources wisely and recognize the skills and strengths that each team member brings to the table?
The race clock ticks down to the start time and the race begins! Teams arrive at the first performance challenge and must quickly strategize and put their plan into action in the most efficient way possible. How many teams will jump right into the task? How many teams will look at the bigger picture and then proceed? Who is the real team anyway? The race clock keeps ticking as teams navigate from one activity to another. Tension builds as revenues are recorded and passports as teams race to the finish. The clock stops as teams' cross the finish line. Passports are collected and revenue totals are tallied. The teams review their race performance with laughter and confidence that they are indeed the winners! The judges have the final revenue totals. Teams gather together anxiously waiting to hear the results. And the winners are?
