The Spirax Sarco team came together to kick off Spring in Columbia, SC with an afternoon of collaborative team building and charitable giving. The group of 150 employees competed through a series of intensely competitive and complex strategic team activities to earn parts to build 18 bikes for kid’s from the Boys/Girls Club of the Midlands. The lucky recipients competed for the opportunity to receive their new bikes by earning raffle tickets for displays of ‘good behavior’. Wow! What smiles on the kids and Spirax Sarco team alike as the two groups were brought together.

All hands were on deck during this fast paced Charity Team Challenge! The Manufacturing Management team from Neutrogena worked strategically and efficiently competing against teammates to earn valuable parts for the assembly of colorful bikes. A bit of elbow grease, collaborative teamwork, and lots of creativity resulted in brightly decorated bikes customized with a personalized inspirational message. The lucky recipients were chosen from the Boys/Girls Club of LA for demonstrating respectful leadership behavior. It was hard to know which group was more surprised — the Neutrogena team who did not realize the kids were coming to receive the bikes or the recipient kids who had no idea what they would be doing on their afternoon field trip. What we do know is that everyone was smiling as Neutrogena team members helped the kids with their helmets and bike seats and then off for a big spin as the kids took to the pavement for a ride!

The PricewaterhouseCoopers team wanted to find a way to support Kidsave, an organization that finds families for children the world has forgotten, in the Los Angeles area. Corporate Teams delivered their Backpacks for Health program to PWC that combines strategic teambuilding initiatives with the packaging of backpacks. Thirty recipients from the ages of 13-15 were chosen to receive backpacks stuffed with supplies. This often forgotten group of teens was the highlight for the PWC team as they carefully packaged and bundled each item into a personalized backpack. Kidsave shared this with the PWC team: You should have seen the kids’ wide eyes as we handed out the backpacks during our Weekend Miracles program. They were full of smiles as they went through and discovered the special gifts inside! Bring the gift of smiles to a well deserving group with one of Corporate Teams many Charitable Team Challenges.
Following a very informative session about the Sustainability Initiatives throughout the city of Chicago, participants had the opportunity to see how specific locations throughout the city were going green and were able to make recommendations on how these locations could further their efforts! All a part of the Mission Impossible; Mystery in Chicago teambuilding event, the Innovation Center chose to incorporate a Sustainable theme to personalize the Mission Impossible Program to their team.

Racing against the clock, teams quickly traveled from the north end of Michigan Avenue all the way south past Millennium Park, stopping at various locations along the way to solve intensely collaborative tasks and challenges. Was it the fastest team that won or the team with the best strategy?

Overall, it was a fantastic mission that resulted in a great time had by all! We look forward to the opportunity to partner with this fun, energetic, and green team again soon!

At the end of the day, all were smiles as both team members and kids were brought together for the big surprise! Not a dry eye in the group as the wide-eyed kids realized that they were each getting their very own shiny new bicycle!

Amid the 90 degree temperatures, 50 Senior Managers from the financial Aegon Group embarked on an exciting African Adventure Safari as they explored the ‘wild’ at Busch Gardens. Participants raced around the theme park, getting up close and personal with various wild animals, checking out heart-racing roller coasters, and investigating the beautiful ‘African-like’ scenery, all while searching for the answers to the Missions in which they were challenged.

Teamwork, collaboration, an energetic competitive spirit and a very refreshing splash from Stanley Flume Falls made this an event to remember!

Corporate Teams recently partnered with Ciena Communications to help them achieve their goal of uniting two sales teams! Twenty lucky sales leaders had the opportunity to participate in the energetic Mission Impossible: Mystery on Pearl Street Challenge on a beautiful, sunny, spring day in Boulder, Colorado. While these team members enjoyed getting to know one another, they sprinted along the Pearl Street Pedestrian Mall in downtown Boulder trying to outsmart, outwit and OUT RUN their competition!

At the end of the day, team members learned that it wasn’t necessarily the fastest team who won, but rather the SMARTEST team and the team who exemplifed the best TEAMWORK!
Corporate Teams would like to thank the Ciena Communications Team for a great day of fun, sunshine and enthusiastic team unity!
