Golden Test H1

Gather your teams and get ready for an intensely collaborative, highly strategic, and energizing Hole-in-One Team Challenge! Each team works to create the most difficult, complex, and challenging Hole-in-One design with the goal of sinking the shot for the once in a lifetime, very elusive Hole-in-One.

This event is ideally suited as an outdoor activity in any warm weather location. It also works perfectly indoors when the weather outside is frightful!

Program Overview

Foundation

The group will be split into teams of 4-6 with the overall activity objective of building the most complex Hole-in-One shot.

Briefing

Teams will be given a variety of equipment and materials to. A variety of complex metrics that will need to be met to measure the high standards of the Hole-in-One design and execution.

Action

Once the teams have completed the construction of their hole, execution begins! This is where success is determined! Will each team meet the metrics and win the challenge?

Results

Each Hole-in-One will be scored based on the complexity of metrics:
Complexity: Number of times the ball changes direction Time to Sink the Shot: Length of time the ball is in the structure Sand Traps and Water (Obstacles): Number of times the ball drops to another level while in the maze Upswings: Number of upward ascents of the ball from a downward decline Momentum: Straight line distance from the drop point to the hole Success: Making the Hole-in-One!

Objectives & Outcomes

The Objective is to create the most difficult and complex Hole-in-One Golf Shot!

  • Team collaboration — team members coming together to 'integrate' a design and strategy that results in a well executed plan.
  • Team roles — evaluating each team member's ability and effectively managing team resources that will drive the team to a successful solution
  • Effective management of time — managing strategy, innovation, evaluation of alternatives, execution, measurements and process improvements within a designated period of time
  • Focused communication — aligning diverse team priorities into an overall integrated system
