Virtual Integration Team Challenge

Overview

How do you successfully integrate work processes or systems across a virtual workspace?  The Virtual Integration Team Challenge tests the best of teams to innovate, execute, meet aggressive performance measures and integrate diverse work processes or systems while simulating a virtual team environment. Each team must meet their individual team objectives while managing the complexity of overall performance metrics.

Program Agenda

Kick-Off

Teams are grouped into sets of two or three virtual project teams. Corporate Teams introduces the TEAM Balance Model for High Performing Teams as a framework for effective and efficient problem solving.  The overall objective is for teams to maximize performance points across the entire project.

Virtual Teams in Action

Virtual project teams are responsible for building a piece of the overall process. Working independently, project teams have limited communications throughout the design and building phases.  Teams manage a series of complex metrics to determine the highest return on investment as individual processes and as a final integrated system.  A series of short neutral zone conferences provides an opportunity for virtual partner team representatives to share their strategy and progress.

Integration and Testing

Teams bring their structures together integrating the pieces into a seamless process – or so they hope!  It’s all hands on to effectively assemble the pieces while managing time for testing and retooling.

Execution and Scoring

Teams are on the edge as each virtual team executes their system.  Performance points are calculated based on the metrics achieved.

Action Debrief

A diversity of strategies leads to a rich discussion of how teams worked together to achieve individual and overall project team metrics.  Key insights and takeaways are uncovered that can be put into action upon return to the workplace.

Requirements & Logistics

Corporate Teams commits to a seamless delivery and tight logistics from start to finish.  Everything is handled behind the scenes:  management of logistics with the meeting venue; permits (if required); shipping/tracking of all equipment and supplies.

All you have to do is get the team ready to go!
